Very nice, being a 6bb about £350 ish maybe a bit more
I posted back in 2014 following the discovery of this and a CWC watch when clearing out a relative's house. (original thread: http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...erited-watches)
I never did post a follow-up!
I sent the watch(es) to Stephen Burrage at Ryte Time and had them serviced but kept all the parts original. I bought a timefactors aviator strap for the Hamilton and a NATO for the CWC, and gave the CWC to a family-member, but kept the Hamilton. This was the result:
It's been an on-and-off daily wear since, and has been absolutely bulletproof. It runs about 1 minute a day slow, but that's not really too much of a concern.
This might be an unanswerable question but is it worth anything? Should I be thinking about registering it on my house insurance?

Not sure if this is relevant but I think there were only 3,700 of this particular one issued.
Classic case on those Hamilton's. Seen them for sale in London jewelers at crazy prices. One of those watches that are just right. Here is mine.
