    Speedbird lll clasp conversion

Like many owners l struggled to get the bracelet to fit just right, it was either too loose or too tight, l love the watch, tried it on a selection of straps but for me it looks and feels far better on its bracelet, so l had a rummage around my spares box and found a bracelet from a long gone Kienzle pilot watch that looked very similar to the SBIII's, so l swapped over the end links using split pins and attached it to the clasp with spring bars and this is the result

Micro adjustment on the bracelet, for me fixes the only negative of one of Eddie's finest watches.

    Excellent work!

The butterfly clasp is the only negative on, for me, Eddie's best watch. It's the reason I've sol every SBIII I've had.
