    Affordable BMW

Had this Moeris ATP for a while now. ATP watches seem to be one of the last 'affordable' BMW. Got it serviced and crystal replaced soon after acquiring it, but I didn't really warm to the dial as it has significantly discouloured from the typical cream.

I recently acquired a second ATP with the more usual cream dial, with a much more beaten up case, but nice dial and hands. It needed a service as well, so a cunning plan came into focus....

Having now swapped the dial and hands between the two watches...

And the end result wrist shot.

The dial and hand set is one of the best I have seen
They are relatively good value in comparison with other issued watches but they are small and the cases are generally worn out.
I have a few in the collection but they never get worn.
Too small for my wrist and a bit to fragile
They are a nice addition though

That looks fabulous. I only appreciated just how nice that dial is once I'd zoomed in the photo.

Just out of interest, are you considering having a go at cleaning the other dial now? Not sure if it's possible but maybe not so much to lose?

Thanks for posting - encouraging for the rest of us. :).

The replacement dial does look good, although the new crystal fitted at service does help!

I did ask if the dial could be cleaned when I had it serviced, but it is actually the dial lacquer that has reacted and discoloured, so it was either refinish or replace. It is quite a unique effect, but I do prefer the cream.

Another pic of the discoloured dial.
