A bit like seeing a VIth Form school play written by one of the staff.

It's a lack of personality on all fronts. The whole show reeks of damp bedsits and crusty socks.

I'm being quite generous - if I had more time I'd construct a really vituperative post.
    I couldn't agree more.

Quite like the comparison between grand tour and top gear

Both have their faults but neither are that good to be honest

Clarkson has regressed to an idiot teenager state and Le blanc is just wooden and awkward

Let's hope the next series of both shows improves somewhat

You're right there Macca, I was really looking forward to TGT but I thought it was so poor and I didn't even watch all the episodes as I just gave up as to me it was a great opportunity wasted and the new TG is equally as bad with bland dull presenters I have stopped watching that as well and I love car programmes but I can't be bothered with either.

although the new top gear is not great, Im liking the more emphasis on cars and not the scripted funny something has gone wrong crap it was at the end of clarkson era. Ive watched all the new TG, couldnt be bothered to catch up the rest of GT after a couple of episodes.

Middle aged former rock star wears sunglasses inside, chews his face off and proves himself to be a charisma vacuum. There.

He had good weather, and what looked like a very fast, winning lap.

He definitely thought he'd be top of the leaderboard.... - he was gutted to come second!!

To be fair, with the amount of top level racing (GT works Nissan, Le Mans in an LMP2!) Hoy has done, he's a bit of a ringer...

Oh, you mean J 'I wouldn't be seen dead in a Bentayga' K. Arrogant little man, came across really badly. I've seen him on TG and FG back in the day and he was alright, very passionate about cars and a 'to die for' collection. Just on to flog ANOTHER album and did himself no favours.

I think TG will get better, certainly better without Evans. Scriptwriters need a kick up the arse though, really cringeworthy some of the studio stuff and the Star in a Car thing is far too long and drawn out. Think the relationship between the 3 presenters will mature and become more natural in due course. I like Sabine, a girl who can properly drive and they're using her for some of the select segments only rather than all out presenting which I don't think would work.
