^^^^without PAM refs these pics are a tad meaningless for those looking to decide which precise models they prefer.
PS not meaning they all look similar!

Wasn't sure from your earlier pic but this one seals it.

The pics on this thread remind me of when I first seriously got into watches and found Paneristi.com. That's worth a look at if you want to find out more about Panerai.
    Lovely watches fellas

    My 392 42mm ...

But I want this next ...

I feel like this thread has been created just to make me feel bad about putting my one up on the SC!! I really do love the brand and If I could have any right now it would most probably have to be the 127 (fiddy) but the range is so vast. Whether it be the luminor/ 1940's or radiomir, each one is just as beautiful as the next in their own way.

  14. #64
Lovely touch to the watch by the way. It reminds me of the PAM 604 which I think is stunning and if anything, removes that that itch to ever consider selling it! P.s go on you know you want to with regards to the 351 :)

    However i own these two

This is in my eyes the perfect duo!

127 and 232. I sold my 127 a couple of years ago but am on the look pout for another now!!

This thread is doing me no good at all. I have not had a Panerai for some years, but now the old appeal seems to have returned. I am thinking Cali 249 or 448, but not sure which is the better choice. The prices for each seem about the same. Any comments appreciated.

Tough one, I'd go with the original SE 249. But Calis are not my absolute favourites....

A bit scattered but Wempe used o have a few, Selfridges sometime have a good stock or Watchfinder if you fancy pre-owned usually have a few. Alternately, hang out in a few city bars!

Selfridges are normally well stocked, as are WoS in Regents Street. Eventually it'll do your wallet no good at all!

I'm now narrowed down to 564 or 510

The only issue is I'm not sure if these have a sandwich dial or not. It looks like older 510 did but newer ones didn't and I'm not sure about the 564??

Pam 25 would be my choice.

Always love the 1950 case in pictures but not so much on the wrist.

I still love the 88 best and have done so for the last 8 years

I'm starting to research a few options for my next watch purchase,a Panerai is in the line up, please bear with me my knowledge is very limited.

I was looking at more classic Luminor models, PAM0000 and PAM0112, the essence of the brand I guess. I prefer the 112 for the sandwich face and display back.

Anyway, I can see the PAM0100 on their website (flat face and no display back) and the PAM0560 (Sandwich face and Display back) but no the others.

Do Panerai change models numbers regularly and they are in fact the base models? I have had a search online but can't seem to find anything.

    Any pointers would be appreciated.
