Nice, thanks for sharing. That just reminded me how much I prefer the older designs than anything current from rolex.
Nice little 60 sec film popped up on Twitter this morning from Hodinkee

Unfortunately I am susceptible to this type of marketing. Now I really want a pre-c GMT Pepsi!
Great watch(!) - Paul Newman wears it well.....
There's a few Rolex in John Wick 2. The antagonist wears a particularly nice Daytona.
I'd be interested to read into this video a little more actually, if there is more information. There are a number of comments on the Hodinkee video asking why Bond isn't there - and I'm presuming that this is because the watches featured are all the actor's personal watches that ended up in the movies (Or at least historical representations of a true story). Any one got any thoughts on this? Rolex aren't big on product placement and I gather that the Bond connection was either too obvious, or a bit of a wrangle with Omega on brand association.
The clip is fun but to me just indicates how much more charm the older models had and also how much more functional they were. The clip either featured the watches being part of the films because they had monetary value (it's a Rolex so I can use it to pay for my taxi/bribe someone) or were just on someone's wrist being a functional tool while the characters were doing something manly or heroic. I can't help but feel that the modern models have lost some of that functional cool.
F.T.F.A.
Very nice.
