Thread: Dad's old book and my new watch (Railmaster content)

Dad's old book and my new watch (Railmaster content)

My old Dad was a train driver for 30yrs, most of that time on what he referred to as "proper trains" by that he meant a steam train. In his opinion the newer diesel never appealed to him as a form of transport.
Anyway, the watch is not steam powered but if he were still here I'm sure it would meet with his approval.

Yes, they had it listed as the 41mm version but it is actually 39mm.

Well done as I was quite tempted. Think it was recently serviced and looked very nice.

Did you manage to negotiate it down in price ?

Indeed, some watches just seem to have a way of calling out: "Howdy!".
