    Omega dial/hands swap: how easy?

    Afternoon all,

I'm thinking of swapping the black dial and white hands on a Speedmaster Professional for the cream dial/grey hands of the Italian-issued 1990s special edition Speedy Pro.

I'd be grateful for any views on whether this should be a straightforward task for a watchmaker (not me!) or whether it should go to an Omega specialist. And if the latter, any advice as to which one? I read somewhere that the subdial hands can be broken easily.

    Thanks,
    Nick

Yes - any proper watchmaker can do this ... I had Steve at Ryte time do a hands and dial swap for me recently - he was much cheaper than the other couple of quotes I got.

Always call Steve if you want to contact him

Steves original Rytetime number is defunct, ( as in, you won't get Steve on it ) you can ask the new owner of RT that Steve does the work though.
    Cheers..
