Fantastic watch and nice find. I luckily picked one up on SC a few years ago and it's going nowhere.
Don't sell that one!!
No it wasn't you ( I don't think ) think it was farmkid from memory.
Looks great, these have a classic style of their own.
Still one of my top 10 :)
It's just a matter of time...

Great buy. I love mine, really comfortable and thin enough to slip under a shirt cuff.

I really like that as its a little understated. Love the blue and it is on my very long wish list.
Congrats....lovely piece, used to have one of these....
Congratulations, you cant go wrong with a SMP, I love mine. As its your third you must agree, maybe this is the keeper! :)
Cheers Martin
Congrats and a lovely watch. Hopefully 1 of 2 I would like to get this year :yes
They really are excellent watches, getting harder to find in top condition thesedays. The 1120 movement is a better long-term proposition that the co-axial, they stand up to wear and tear (and neglect) pretty well. Parts aren`t too difficult to source and the movements always seem to run very well after straightforward servicing.
Doesn`t seem that long since these were in the shops new for around £1150 (2006/2007), time flies and prices have rocketed.

I respect Omega for the undoubted quality of what they do, but I have never really fancied one. That blue one is just delicious though, really smart looking piece.
Def a keeper, have thought about trading mine in but just can't part with it.

I think it was 2008. The change coincided with the launch of the 'black Bond' version which is simply a black version of the blue.......the clue's in the title! The blue models continued, but with an applied logo on the dial and slightly longer hands which look a tad nicer IMO. The caseback also changed and the newer one's very slightly deeper.
I own a black Bond, I prefer it to the blue, but I'd like it even more if it had the older movement. Mine's getting close to service time and I'll need to invest in a cheap microscope to get the lubrication right......co-axial escapement doesn't cut it for me despite all the hype. They are very sensitive to lubrication and normal oiling technique isn't precise enough, hence the microscope!

I think 2008 is correct for the 2123041.
I bought my brother one for his 40th birthday the year they were launched, so I think that's correct if my years are correct on his birth year lol
From memory they were £1750 RRP, and the Black Bond 007 edition was £1950 RRP at the time.
Apart from the applied logo and co-axial text, they have red writing Seamaster too.
It's just a matter of time...
Ive bought and sold at least 3 of these and yes at the right money I would have one back again!! In fact my first decent watch that my wife bought me was one of these but I had literally just bought her a diamond dialled Heuer so I took the SMP back😢
Should have kept it!! I stared at that watch on my bedside table for 3 nights before it went back!!!!!!!!?????
I hope you keep it but at least if you don't there's loads on here who will have it me included!
