    Recommended watch case or box

Could anyone recommend a decent but reasonably inexpensive watch case or box ?

I currently house about a dozen watches in various cardboard boxes but would like to store my mini-collection together.

Apologies if this has recently been covered; I have just done a search and nothing in particular popped-up.

    Regards

    Gary

When they're available, Lidl Tea boxes make great watch boxes for little money.

Thanks for the suggestions above. I do like the flight case suggestion. Will try my local Maplin over the weekend to see what they have in stock.

They come in 2 sizes, both of which can store quite a few watches safely. The larger sized case is usually £30-£40, but is discounted twice yearly to about £15-£25. Same goes for the smaller case.

If you can stretch to £50, I got an "Axis" 12 watch box from these guys recently: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/dragonwinders/

Next day delivery. Its not solid wood - its hardwood that's wrapped/veneered.. but hinges are great quality and pads are great too.

I did a video review of it. If it interests you, shout up and I'll post it up. (hate my accent on video.. so I'll not assume that anyone wants to hear it!)

Hi JohnnyE, that looks like it will fit the bill nicely. A link to or post of your review would be much appreciated. I have just looked at the dragonwinders site and they look to have lots of options for the right amount of money. Thanks for the steer.

    Recommended watch case or box

Search for a thread called Watch Box Advice?!? here in Watch Talk. The second post down is from lampoc and identifies the same 12-watch box that I have. Excellent value for money.
