Having liquidated a good number of my cheaper watches, a fair number of microbrands to acquire a grail watch last year, I am having a look at the cheaper end again. Now I love my higher end pieces but I miss the variety of having numerous colours and designs, although mostly divers and the like, in my cabinet, I like to have plenty of choice, to sit and look at them, to change straps, to just handle them, I get a lot of satisfaction and pleasure from them even if I never wear a number.
So I joined a microbrand Facebook group to find more inspiration, see what other people are wearing. There are plenty on there that just leave me cold for various reasons, probably the most off putting are the wrist behemoths but each to their own.
So I came across Gruman watches via another feed on the microbrand FB page and quite like it, modestly priced I feel and worth a punt in my opinion, time to start refilling the cabinet.
