    Friday 17/02/17

It's Friday already over here in Singapore! Couldn't have come soon enough.

Wearing my new-to-me 18238, loving it to bits! Never thought I could pull off gold but haven't had any snarky comments yet ;)

Forgive the date btw, it was taken on Wednesday!!

I can see why you were so keen to show that one off.

Plenty more pictures required I feel!

Thanks mate! Here you go ;)

The bracelet on these things is sublime. Mine's got a tiny bit of stretch - enough to be comfy, but not too much.

The tone of the gold is absolutely impossible to capture in pictures - comes out different every time!!

I spent about two hours in the shop deciding between that one and this daytona, which was actually a little cheaper. In the end I decided I had enough steel watches already, and decided on this. Thinking of going back for the Daytona though, it was an absolutely mint 2005 with the thinner hands...

It's a global community and TZ-UK is all the better for it. This could be a very extended Friday thread if I don't post mine until nearly midnight here. Maybe on 14 April one of our NZ members could start the thread and someone on the west coast of the US close it, making it a really long Good Friday.

Oh man, for a brief second I thought it really was Friday and was about to head out to the pub. Oh well, can't say what will be on the wrist tomorrow but it's Zenith blue day today!

only just got back from the pub this Thursday lunch (Thursday is the new Friday and I don't work for Lloyds). I'll let you know what I wear on Friday when the time arrives.

    Nice watch. But it's Thursday.

Still better this than the usual stock blurry photo from the '+1' sex tourist.

Another week with the little beauty of a Nomos....

    * I'll post in both Friday's... One the incorrect time, the other the incorrect date format, that's if the time is wrong and we go by GMT. Which we do. Haha. *

Ah, I think I get it now. Ive posted a picture in the real Friday thread showing a shot from Wednesday and as this is the Thursday thread here is a shot of Friday - which I don't think should be in the first thread. If someone could post a guide to how you do all this properly I would be grateful.

Hi. Yes, it's Russian. I bought it new in 2004. The case is S/S bead blasted to a fine matt finish & 39mm excl crowns. Movement is the Poljot 31681, a variant of the 3133 having a 24hr subdial at 6.

    Cheers

There is a lot of talk on forums, about the new Deep Blue homage to the Turtle. I think Deep Blue thinks it comes with improved versions of the Seiko originals. In the case of the SKX clones, I can imagine (sapphire crystal, hacking/handwinding movements) but then lacks in the lume department. A turtle with the crown at 3 and a Sellita movement? I don't know. Anyway, because of the buzz, I thought of wearing one today, that, with some fantasy looking at the case could look a bit like an Oris....

    HAGWE folks!
