    This hobby is getting expensive..

Hi all, after living with my Carrera for a year and a half the bug has got me again. I took delivery of this yesterday..

It looks like this is a fairly rare version, not finding many owners about other watch forums. Does anyone have one of these on here?

43mm, it's probably not helped by the angle and distance I took the photo.

That's what they always say! :-). I think forum regular Rajen has one too. In any event I expect him to be along shortly......

I like the way that they have used the yellow and blue - really suits it.

    A lovely looking chrono.

OOI, today I am wearing my Terra Nova, another handsome Bremont GMT.

They are not to everyone's tastes but it is hard to fault the quality of these watches, IMVHO.

Going back only a few years I considered £350 for a watch expensive, in fact my Tissot Couturier @ £600 was a ridiculous purchase for me... My wife asked me last night 'does it make you feel sick the money you have on your wrist?'. The answer is, yes. But its beautiful...

That looks good and I'm not usually much of a fan of Bremont.

That looks amazing and not seen one before

Couple of things after a couple of days of wearing, the watch came with the Model 247-SS technical book instead of the Ti, and also came with the wrong tool. A spring bar tool instead of a tool for the Ti to remove the strap. Contacted Bremont and without question they said they would send out the correct book/tool in the post. But also the watch strap is sadly allowing the watch to slide down my arm and I keep having to reposition! Where I need it is between 2 of the holes. I can lift the watch up about 6-7mm from my wrist, and guessing it will only get worse as the strap loosens up :(

Nice choice. As alredy said by someone else earlier in the thread, not a fan of Bremonts at all but that looks way better than the ones they have in the lacal AD window (which never ever seem to change).

    Lovely Golf as well. I've had the GTI in mk2 (16v and 8v version), mk4 and mk5 guise, plus two mk3 VR6's, a mk5 R32 and a mk6R. Great cars.
