The Watch Dealer - Bracelet Tightening

    Hi Guys,

Has anybody used The Watch Dealer to tighten a bracelet?

I see that hundreds of people use Michael Young in HK and this is the direction that I was planning on going until I heard that The Watch Dealer in the UK also offer this service.

I know that MY will probably take longer than The Watch Dealer, but has anybody hear had any experience with them for bracelet tightening?

    Thanks!

What sort of price does Seth charge? I have one that could be with a tighten up.

Depends on watch material, how bad it does it need pins etc...

Give him a call its lot lot cheaper than sending to Michael Young!!

Looking at that, it still looks pretty stretched? Maybe it's a bad picture.

From your experiences, how were the results once you had them back? Almost as new?

You might have bad eyes or something looks fine. Bare in mind the stretch and poor condition of the some jubilee bracelets out there especially bi metal as gold links wear and stretch. All the hollow links jubilee bracelets still have a little stretch even when new.

There come back fully polished and brushed and look look like new

Rather than start a new thread I thought I would share my opinion on seth's work, I received my sub bracelet back last week after sending it off to Seth for tightening and an issue with the clasp.
I cannot believe how much better the bracelet is, nice and tight with an amazing finish, the clasp feels like brand new 👍

Obligatory pic below, if anyone is considering getting this type of work done I can highly recommend Seth

That's an interesting conclusion from the single photo posted.

    I don't see the difference.....

Actually it reminds me of a potential Viagra advert.

Can I ask how long before straps show this and is it just the links opening up that gives you a warning that it's happening ?

    Thanks
