    Speedmaster Moonphase colour confusion

So I popped into my local Omega OB convinced I was going to like and possibly buy the stunning new blue Speedy Moonphase but ending up trying on this which blew my mind! Now I can't decide! Thoughts?

    The blue one for comparison

That blue version is an absolute knockout. I'd have one in a heartbeat given the choice.

    Definitely blue for me.
It's just a matter of time...

Blue for me - but it's difficult to tell from photo's and under artificial light - it depends what YOU like!

Ignoring the whole bi-metal debate, I have to say blue purely because of how amazing the moon phase looks on it. On the bi-metal it looks odd and more like a bat signal.

Another vote for the blue here. So much more distinctive than the other one...

Definitely blue for me too. I am sure when the sunlight catches it, it will be stunning but not seen one in the flesh yet

Well that seems pretty unanimous! My pictures are rubbish though and really don't do it any justice. I'd never even considered this colour from the pictures but on seeing it must say it was special. Some thinking to do....

    I'd go for the blue.

I prefer the old version with the Valjoux 7751 movement.

I was so excited by this model when it was announced last Fed/Mar and eagerly awaited the release in October. We are now in Jan and apart from a few boutiques it is still not in the shops. You certainly won't see one in any Omega AD near me.

Basically, I have lost all interest in this now. If Omega cannot be bothered getting them out, I cannot be bothered buying one.

Has anyone else ever experienced this. You wait so long, that when the watch eventually appears you have lost all interest in it ?

Like most on here I think the blue is the one you should go for. The other just doesn't show the watch in the same light.

No confusion for me, the blue is lovely, the other one, less so...

It would appear from the clear majority, sorry entirety of responses here that I have absolutely no sense of taste or fashion. Not that this is a surprise as my wife regularly mentiones this

I do like the first one and its vintage tones, but given the unanimous love for the blue, I'd probably go that way if it were me. Not because of peer pressure.. but because that one is going to sell WAY quicker when the inevitable flip happens to fund the next one.

Against the grain here - I prefer the non-blue version. Just more interesting to my eyes.

I like the MoonPhase to stand out as well rather than just be a white dot.

Another vote for Blue based only on your pictures, may think differently if I had the watches in front of me.

I'd go for both! But the blue would be my preferred choice.

    It has to be blue.
