    Polishing skills

    Not watches exactly, but I think this is the correct forum, rather than George and Dragon...
    I recently made a set of Bronze cuff links.
    A chap I used to work with saw them on twitter, and requested a set for his wedding day.
    Being an obliging chap I knocked out another, unique set.

    There was not much to the making, but the polishing was something else...
    I was determined to get a better polish on them than the brone ones.
    They are shiny:


    but the backs have some small swirlies on them:



    The new brass ones are much better in that aspect:





    And I did clean up the edges to round them off before calling them done. (Nothing like a real close up to show the bits that need work...)

    Watchmaking content: I need to practice my polishing skills :)
