Double post
They're not being released in order, so I've been told.
I had my email on the 13th July and it's still not arrived at the OB!
Steve
Swapped mine onto a black NATO last week, it really makes the greyish black inner part of the dial stand out. I also really love the brush of the case finish.
Everything else has stayed in the safe for over a week now, at the moment it's the perfect watch (just need to get use to winding the thing)
Good things come to those that wait (as hard as it maybe)😂
Within a week on the wrist you will be smitten.
(No gaurantee is available) see t&c
I got my email to say mine is on it's way so hopefully will actually get it soon to go with the snoopy strap and bracelet I've had waiting for it.
The watch is really stunning. Far better in the metal than in pics. There's a subtlety and warmth to the overall aesthetics that is not common amongst chronos/Speedies. The stepped subdials and brushed case really give it depth, and because they are not stark white or 'shiny shiny', it balances nicely with the brushed case and lugs and gives warmth to the overall design.
Stunning watch and far better than I thought it might be, but against a watchbox full of Rolexes, I am not sure it's the one for me. Certainly the nicest Speedy I've come across, however, imho.
Another ST on the bay, Watchfinder have really pushed the price up.
Although they are open to offers😂😂😂

As the mass of the watches begin to arrive, there will be plenty available at lower prices. Plenty. Watch finder will know that, and will be keen to make early sales while they can.
My understanding is that about 7-800 have been delivered so hardly a flood of them on the market. As someone mentioned previously, many will end up being sold to US buyers who barely got a look at launch time.
Yep guys being honest here if you want one and think you can wait and get one at £5k you will be disappointed. The vast majority of these won't be flipped and demand in the US will keep pricing high particularly as the British peso is worth hardly anything currently

well I am having fun obtaining mine
have been told by Omega it left them on August the 18th
but ..... still not at Omega Boutique ??
anyone else experienced a delay between Omega notification and arrival at AD ?
Indeed - there's a lot of wishful thinking going on, certainly on both sides of the buying / selling divide but I concur with your forecast.
This one up for £7.5K at Chrono24.
You think people will pay £10,000 for yet another Omega limited edition? I don't, but we will see.
Watchfinder are now asking less than £7.5k for a new ST, so it looks like the days of £6k+ buy-ins will soon be over.
13 currently listed on Chrono24 and most in the £7k to £7.5k price range - and that's dealers.

Maybe now people can just enjoy it for what it is rather than running it straight to WF.
If you’re still waiting on it and the thought of not making any money on it is giving you palpitations then it would be prudent to just email Omega and give it it to the next guy waiting.
Wasnt it 4k? If so a grand profit is pretty good!
Some of the shoddy QC on these has been awful. This is by no means the worst example I've seen. Why would this be happening?

I got offered £6k-£6.2k last week but when popping in yesterday to their buying centre they said things had changed and in the end I got a deal of £4k plus a Chopard Mille Miglia Chrono they had listed at £2.2k but probably worth £1.8k. Only the trade in got me near that figure
Isn't £4k now below RRP? If this is the case I would expect that we will start to see sales settle around the £5-5.5k mark soon!

Another dealer told me he had 'stock' of the watch, but wasn't putting them on the market yet. He should hurry up. The bubble was always going to burst. Too many watches and too many 'special editions.'
It's good , because people can just enjoy the watch.
Once the glut gets hoovered up by true collectors, the price will rise. Apparently about 3-500 just been delivered in the last month, hence the ready supply here in the UK and Europe. It is all about supply and demand, supply is up so prices drop. This is why some dealers will hang on to them till after all watches are delivered and the supply runs dry. There are many avid Omega collectors still waiting to try and get one.
Another e-mail informing me that as September has nearly finished, delivery is more likely to be October.
No s**t Sherlock.
Omega are a bunch of incompetent scumbags.
At least if the value has completely collapsed by then it will be an easy decision.
I was thinking of doing a trade listing in SC - a brand new ST and a 1965 Ed White is straight trade for a new white dial Ceramic Daytona or a PP Aquanaut. Think anyone would be interested. Shoot me down in flames now and save me a load of time writing a SC post. I was thinking the two together would be worth £15k, either £10k and £5k or £9k and £6k - doesn't really matter, but surely a good deal for anyone who bought at RRP.
