Seiko SARB065 cocktail time strap options

I have just received the above watch and love it - my first watch that isn't a cheapie. However I can't seem to find a comfortable position on the strap - there always seems to be a gap at the top lugs.

The strap seems very stiff, is this normal? Is this what is causing the gap?

What other options would people recommend? Photos on different straps would be great as well

I never liked ther original strap. Not because it's stiff - it will soften up, but because the clasp started to unclasp when it wasn't supposed to after a short while. After I dropped the watch 3rd time I let the original strap go.

Changed it to a bracelet for a while, then some leather and some more leather and then perlon. This weeks choice is a textile strap.

I've only got these two pictures to show

Thanks for that - any other opinions?

Would like to start wearing this more - what options are there for comfortable every day straps? Where should I be looking in terms of websites etc?

I have sold mine but had it on a blue hirsch grand duke which I thought worked really well. No decent photos just an old one that I have blown up from a box shot a couple of years ago. Pete
