    Is 1959 not the year of manufacture as indicated in the OP. ? Anyway, it is indeed a lovely thing. Is this the original condition or has it had a refurb ?

    The strap suits it, highland seems quite appropriate too (highland gent on his estate).

    Is it 34mm?

    Lovely watch, am only getting to watches but have found myself looking at a lot of vintage Omegas. Slightly put off from buying second hand basically down to not knowing what to look out for but I'm sure it will come with time.

    I do love a vintage Omega!!!
    I think Ive owned and sold, about 20plus vintage Omega Seamasters maybe I should just keep one as for the money they really are a top purchase!!!

    great watch Matt,i also am a fan of omega's from this period,this one the hallmarks on the denison case are from 1960 and the same on the bracelet so may have started out life together,like you i wont be parting with this..
