Okay I guess it's a limited audience but I bought one of these experience days for my dad for Christmas a couple of years ago (him, his wife and 2 grand children) and they has an absolutely fantastic day out. A really well run bird centre with enthusiastic staff.
Most of their experience days are 50% off (for next couple of days) and vouchers last for a year.

thanks for that - just booked a full day for two. the g/f and i love birds of prey and so a full day with them (10am - 3:30pm), getting to handle and possibly fly them - sounds amazing. great reviews and sounds like a well run place with lots to see and do. they're only 20 miles from us too.
and we can use it anytime in the next 12 months, so doing it on a long warm summer's day sounds perfect.

Just an update as we waited until summer to use this - and went today. We both absolutely loved it. A fantastic day, lots of beautiful birds that we had ample opportunity to handle and fly. We did the full day - and must have taken 400-500 pictures between us.
Friendly knowledgable and enthusiastic staff.
Simply wonderful. We're going back again as even at full price I think it's well worth it.
