    Cat deterrents…

In our new house there are a few cats which roam around up and down the street, keeps the mice away so i don’t mind them.

But just today I’ve bought an outdoor dining set, and I know they’ll try to make themselves comfy for the night (it’s under cover and they’ve spent the odd night already)

So the question is.. what is a good deterrent? I don’t want bottles of water sitting around and the Beretta would be going too far ;-)

I bought a couple of these doo-hickies to try and stop the neighbour’s Maine coons from shitting in the middle of my back grass.

So-far - they seem to be working.

Can you put a cover over the dining set in the evening?

There isn't much that will deter a cat, except bigger cats, dogs and water.

I've heard lion poo works, but…

Maybe you could borrow a Golden Eagle?

A dog can actually have the opposite effect. After 14 years, we had to put our best mate to sleep in January.

For 2 years before this, the neighbour’s cat was shitting in our garden. Since poor Boris is no longer with us, the cat has stopped shitting all over our garden space.

Cats are territorial little fuckers. I’ll be honest, I hate cats.
