Funny you mention that. I didn't notice it until I took the pic. You should be pleased to know that it has undergone some thorough cleaning since then.

As for the cutoff numbers, I never understood what people are on about. I can't think of a better way to maintain readability while having nice large subdials at the same time. But I guess to each their own. ;)

Yeah, it's not seen as often as other watches but it's a really nice watch! I am very pleased so far.

Of course. Be dull if we liked the same thing, but I find them terribly distracting personally.

I know that after the 1 and before the 3 position an index is 2, so I never really see the need to put a tiny part of a number there (or anywhere else), but as you say, different folks...

I, on the other hand, never really understand why people find 'busy' dials so difficult to live with, as many say they do.

I find the detail fades away when I look at a watch and I only see the position of the hands and markers, unless I'm using the feature.

I couldn't agree more with you. I'm the same in that respect (and actually, I guess that's also what happens with cut off numbers - I just don't see them).

    Was just kidding.
Close ups have this nasty habit of highlighting imperfections that one wouldn't notice IRL.
