Off topic: Fiber to 1000Base-T copper

Ignore my poor English and ignore poor picures, they are made by (lousy) phone.

On my side, I have fiber, which should be converted into UTP/cooper, but I was wondering which converter do I need exactly //I'm asking for the name of the connector on the pictures (one cover/cap is removed).

    Thank you.

And make sure you clean it before you plug it into the interface.

What's written on the fiber cable ?

It could be single mode fiber, don't go looking at the ends of the cables, if they're single mode they use laser rather than multi mode that uses LEDs.

What's the equipment you're connecting into, you may just need a SFP?

That's a singlemode patchcord & you can have multimode transmitters with lasers as well as LEDs.

Highly recommend one of these if you work with fibre, shows up a single mode signal. Incredibly handy IMO!

And these, I have used one over 3K on single mode to ID a cable.

The yellow jacket on the patch cord indicates that it's single mode.

That looks like two LC simplex connectors in a LC Duplex Clip.

I've seen yellow multi mode fibre and yellow single mode fiber, don't take it for granted that yellow = single mode or multi mode.
