    Another Fatboy arrives.. Plus a mini Mil-SOTC

    I've had my 1980 Fat boy for a while now, and being easily influenced by Ian's (Velorum) new incoming I thought I'd try to get hold of another ( it IS after all a birth-year watch for me)

    Took delivery this week of number 2

    And here it is with the rest

    A closer look;

    L-R;

    CWC Chrono - BBC issued
    CWC Quartz Diver - 1995
    Pulsar G10 - 1999 (short-hand)

    L-R;

    CWC Fatboy - 1980
    CWC Fatboy Navigator- 1981
    CWC Fatboy - 1980

    L-R;

    Precista G10 - 1982
    Precista G10 - 1982
    Precista G10 - 1984

    And all tucked up;

    Great collection, I've never seen a BBC issue CWC, can you post a pic of the caseback?

    Thanks! That's a corker, I've seen Lemania BBC chronographs before but not one of these - congratulations.

    And here's me thinking the only thing the BBC issued was apologies.

    Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice collection.
    For reference, I am bulding up a a database of BBC issued mechanical timepieces (as I have 2 chronos and 2 stopwatches myself, and am a Lemania collector in general, the BBC doing most of their shopping at Lemania).

    It is here, and I add to it if I come across any more (which I do relatively regularly)

    Never seen a CWC one before, but glad to do so, I have added it to the database.

    Cheers
    Dave

    Thanks for that Dave, I couldn't find much info on BBC issued CWC's myself

    I'd found some links as shown in my incoming thread here;

    http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...d-a-group-shot

    But apart from the above there isn't a lot of readily available info.. I'll have a good look through the ATG site however, looks an interesting read

    nice collection you got there.

    I keep missing out on the '80 CWC fatboy... someone always beats me to it... one of these days I'll get my hands on one.

    only thing that keeps me from pressing BIN is that the lume color on the hands and markers don't match... pet peeve.

    I'll be keeping my eye on this.

    That one, an 83 transitional (which I'm watching) plus 2 standard ones from 89 & 90

    Looking at his sold items he's had a few later ones from 1990-ish, only 2 Fatboys though. I was actually considering the Fatboy last night but changed my mind as I've already got 3!

    To be fair, they're ALL like that! I don't think any of mine have matching lume at all
