did a wee sunday run to Opunake for a bit of lunch with 2 mates and their old man, well in his 70s and still tearing up the tar on his F800...
from yellow up...BMW f800, Yamaha MT-01, MV Agusta 1090 brutale and the worlds first armored bike, the super tenere!

well that's it for me she's on SORN as of this minute after a lovely ride in the Cotswolds to Cheltenham Harley and Triumph.
I didn't stop just a couple of go pro shots, I was making progress on the way home.
There were about 50 bikes out for the LAM 'end of summer' ride on Sunday, split into smaller groups for pre-lunch rides through Kent and Sussex.
Unable to get on my bike at the moment but loving this thread, keep the posts coming.

Had a ride out to Bala on Sunday. Me and one of my mates on Diavels, and one of my sons and his mate whose just passed their tests on their Harleys. We stopped at HD Chester first for a brew and then onto Bala. It wasnt too cold tbh, but with the lads just passing their tests and with limited riding experience, progress was a tad slow. We didnt rush them of course as they were clearly still nervous. A good day out though.

Yep, nice run today in the sun through Fife, over the Forth Road Bridge and into South Queensferry for a bacon roll and coffee at The Cove. Low sun is a pain though at this time of year. On my Honda Shadow 750.
Still riding although is mostly commute rather than pleasure now. If you find the low sun a nuisance (as well all do) I have done the follwing which helps to an extent -
Visor Sticker & Pin Lock Photochromic visor insert on a clear visor - this is ideal if going out in the sun and back in the dark / gloom. The light reaction is gradual and probably goes a little darker than a legal tint going back to almost clear.
Arai Pro - Shade Visor - this works really well (although a little odd) and provides a full dark tint that clicks up when not wanted and becomes a peak which is also useful against the low sun - the only disadvantage is the wind noise when it is up so I save this for journeys I expect it can mostly be down for.
My bike is now SORNED
I washed it, ACF 50 it, drained the tank, run the carbs dry, removed the battery put 3 locks on it and covered it with a expensive breathable cover.
I re-oiled my recently used jackets, removed the liner from my Shoei and gave it a good wash, flushing out any stray flies in the vents etc.
also leder gris my Altbergs washed the insoles and laces
which all goes to prove I am a fusspot with my motorcycle and gear.
now I am just waiting for summer 2017

Just back from a ride, started at Rykas, down to loomies then back past newlands corner. A bit cold but a nice clear afternoon for the return.

It's very possible that I've met (or even ridden with) Ashley but I'm relatively new to LAM and so am still trying to remember names and faces (and put them together) :)
Was out on mine on Saturday for a couple of hours. Pit stopped at Bikers World in Daventry for a cuppa and a warm up. Was great to get out for a bit. I was also trying out my new Isolate metal ear plugs, which were brilliant. Highly recommended if you want/need a new pair of plugs, or you're looking to upgrade from normal foam ones.

As it was a lovely day I took the Bonnie out for a spin.
There are loads of leaves still on the trees, but enough on some roads to make conditions a bit slippery.
Ooh nice, am liking the side panels. Can i ask what kind of mirrors you have on and do you have any pics of them from a different angle? I was getting tired of my bar end mirrors as they are a bit inconviAs it was a lovely day I took the Bonnie out for a spin.

As far as I know the mirrors are stock Bonneville, available from the dealership - I used to have some small more stylish ones but they were really no better than ornaments so I put the old ones back on :)

How do you find the multi ? I keep wondering about upgrading (have a Hypermotard 1100s) but worry about the size of it as I spend a lot of time filtering through traffic despite my commute being mostly dual carriageway as is often at a standstill...

If you are used to a Hyper at least the seat height of the Multi shouldn't be a problem for you.
The bars are quite wide and the 'hand guards'/indicators are not really robust enough to go knocking into car/van mirrorsbut I've generally found it okay for filtering except where urban traffic lanes are narrow.

ZX6 nice bike I had its original daddy the GPZ600r, that was only 60 bhp. By the time they developed yours they were in a dogfight with Suzuki and Yamaha and power and performance increased dramatically. The results were some of the most exiting 600's you could buy. Enjoy

I'm now in waiting mode. I already installed studded tyres, but the snow melted away. So, I am no longer and not yet riding. Please, more snow, soon!
Super scooters? You mean like the maxi scooters?I traded my Vespa in for a Piaggio Beverley... 330cc and 33hp, ABS and traction control.
Narrow enough to filter to the front and will keep up with (to their annoyance) bigger bikes away from the lights
