This is exactly the car that I'm looking to lease for 3 years. Thanks for posting this quote. I'm going to use it to haggle with my Honda dealer. If anyone comes across any other good deals on a Honda Jazz SE or EX please let me know! Thanks guys.

That Jazz deal looks great value to me. If we weren't teaching teenagers to drive I'd be ringing up today to swap ours.

Just had a great quote on a new BMW X2 20d M Sport Auto but then checked the terms and the mileage excess is 16.5p a mile, that’s almost three times as much as any lease deal Ive ever had, also although its a personal lease deal for some reason you can only have one if your on a company car allowance?

Actually not that good a deal then (to!!ers)...

I got my Golf R from them at £149 +VAT per month plus deposit and I was quite happy with that deal
I just clicked on this company and there seems so very good deals on S5 sportbacks, q7's, different Mercedes etc.

I’m struggling to find a decent deal on a 335 MSport X Drive Touring to replace my 330 due to go back soon, found a 340i 2 wd but find the prospect a bit scary.
Budget of about £550 incl VAT for 10K per annum if anyone finds one that would be great.
Found some great 20% off offers on run out A6 Avants but P11D ‘s too high.

The TZ Best Lease Car Deals Thread

Never leased a car before but some of the prices are very good, I was told that the big German makers are now offering lease on used cars... it’s tempting..

Currently E9x BMW (3 series) being replaced later this year, so some great lease / finance / discounts around to keep it moving.

Anyone tried Avis Flex or a similar alternative over PCP or PCH deals?

Looks to be medium term (30 > 90 day) hire of something on their existing fleet and not the same as a lease or PCP.

Just tried this option which looked promising from their website but they only accept Corporate any driver any car insurance policies so no good whatsoever for small businesses unfortunately.

Crazy prices for an S4. That said, given how keen thieves are to aggressively get their hands on performance Audi's and the like, not sure I'd go near anything like that these days.

I've seen a few similar deals on the S4 like this.

Would it mean that there's a 'job lot' of them arrived in the U.K.?
Does anyone here have one? Is that a lot of car for the money?

I have also seen the S6 Avant black Edition at £423 per month which is seams a good deal. Think Audi just push certain cars at different times.

That’s what I’ve noticed. VAG often seem to do good deals on new models, to get a few out on the roads, I assume as a form of advertising.

I mentioned it to one of my colleagues who in turn went on to contract hire and leasing and called a couple of the companies on there. Said the deal had been pulled (all sold out I guess?) and that there had only been block colours, but thought there might be more being released tomorrow.

  28. #428
The S4 deal was wrong and pulled within a day by Audi.

Can't get anywhere like that looking online. More like £299 a month with a huge deposit. Mind me asking where this was from?

New A6 out this year, hence this S6 deal.

There will be far fewer Audi deals going forwards as from this month they’ve moved to Agency term pricing....

    I know this isn’t about a deal but it’s a general question.

Signing up for my first lease and received the paperwork yesterday. In it, it states that the lease rate can be varied if the government levy any additional fees including road fund license and charges placed on diesel vehicles (I'm getting a diesel). So this one does concern me.

Is this standard? It seems to leave the agreement wide open. I have questioned this but not heard back yet. I’m concerned signing for something that ‘could’ increase without me having any option?

Guess they are trying cover them selves if road tax gets really hiked, but seams too open to me, would like it to not be more than the increase in RFL, otherwise they could hike it to cover any additional losses from extra depreciation that any increase causes too.

Yes that’s my concern. It just says ‘we will invoice you separately’ as well.

Being a diesel, this wording definitely concerns me. As you say they’re covering themselves, fair enough but the statement just seems too open.

I guess that they have no control over things like road tax so need to cover their backs and the same would apply if you own the car outright anyway.

I'd also be of the mind that if this sort of thing happened excessively it wouldn't take long before the 'car leasing' business ground to a halt, due to the bad PR that would occur.

Like always though, if it concerns you (and they can't remove your doubts) walk away.

As mentioned already, the wording is there to cover the lease companies. My petrol Audi, leased direct from Audi (VWFS) says the same.
In April 2017, a limited number of cars registered from April onwards had their yearly tax increased dramatically, to the tune of many hundreds of pounds per year, and they were not all exotics, some rather mundane ones. I doubt any lease companies were caught out, but the deals they do, do not take in to account the gov increasing the tax bill by up to £1000 a year.

Actually you're wrong and a lot of dealers were caught out by the 2017 VED increases........as will a number for the 01/04/18 Diesel increases that weren't fully accounted for too.

I’m not disputing what you are saying, but it surprises me dealers were caught out. The changes were announced in the 2015 budget. I don’t believe final amounts were announced, but the warning was 2 years in advance. I remember seeing articles on exact amount increases at the end of 2016, because that’s when I was looking to lease. So with 2 years warning, and an absolute minimum of 3 months notice on exact amounts, it really surprises me they were caught out. An odd few specialist cars with waiting lists or organised/eager people ordering early, yes, but if the dealers were caught out by high numbers, then either the Gov didn’t give enough notice or the dealers were not on the ball and pushing for the info. The majority of new cars are financed, so you’d think they would have been on it.

Or £195 per month with £650 down for the non Abarth version at Yeomans in Eastbourne (and presumably most other uk Fiat dealers!)

Or the Fiat Abarth offer £199 X23 with 10 upfront
Meaning £50 a month more than the deal I got!
    The standard vs Abarth?

Its a Fiat dealer that I got the deal from :)

They just had to be told it was available if they looked hard enough.

Seems to be quiet on the leasing 'deals' front at the moment.
I've been looking for a decent deal for the wife for a wee while now, but nothing of note coming up.

I must admit, if I could get SWMBO to change her car, I’d have her looking at a 124.

Trouble is, she’s happy with her Mini and would only swap for a large 4x4!

Finally agreed a deal with Evogo last week on a 540i XDrive MSport+ Touring 15K miles p/a with a reasonable spec for £700 inclusive and they’ve agreed to let me keep mine through until the 5 Series arrives early September.
The prices have gone up considerably and a 335 would have been £630 so I’m quite happy with this deal.

The XC90 R Design D5 arrived home 4 weeks ago and it is fantastic.

After 12 years of Audi, it was a leap of faith but the Chinese billions have done the trick, Volvo is going to upset the Germans in the years to come....well apparently the new X5 has already been brought forward two years due to the pain BMW are suffering at the hands of the XC90.

I appreciate there will be some badge queens who would not consider Volvo over the German or RR but look beyond and for me it is a better package and under £6k a year!!!!!
