(p.s. Select Leasing are well known in the Trade for failing to deliver on their on juicier line deals...for what it is worth...)
Agreed - I'm well aware of select's reputation / previous in this area. I'm not excited about a potential unnecessary record in my credit history and sure that if it comes to nothing my arrangement fee will (eventually) get refunded so was happy to go for it... Upside is generally some people do get the deal, just plenty more don't.

Was via one Southern Audi dealer group that needed to meet their Q1 A5 quota and limited it to 25 units or so......ergo there would be a lot of disappointed applicants that missed out on the spot deal.

Not sure how good a car it is (small engine) but there seems to be quite a few deals on the Audi A5 1.4.

It’s about the same power as the outgoing 1.8 and previous 2l due to being turbo. But, when below a few k revs, lacks the setting off power. Works very well on motorways and when you are keeping a steady speed.

the headline deal is £99/ month with a £2k initial! Different profiles with lower initials are quoted.

    Initial £2k
    Monthly payment £99
    8k miles/year
No mention of fees, (I assume there aren't any as it's a main dealer)

    £3683 over 18 months

The BEST Deal We've Ever Seen Just Got Better!

Due to unprecedented demand, we've managed to secure another 14 x Brand New S60 T4 SE Nav's available to collect on an 18 Plate Registration.

Get this fantastic car from just £99 a month with only £2000 Initial Payment on an 18 Month Contract!

It comes with Satellite Navigation, Leather Upholstery, Rear Park Assist, Cruise Control, Bluetooth and a 190bhp Petrol Engine all as standard.

Road Tax, FREE Metallic Paint & Manufacturer's Warranty All Included.

? Don't Miss Out. 50 were sold out last weekend. First Come, First Served. Call Mill Harrogate on 01423 798 610 to find out more!

I just ordered one as a cheap household run about for when my Golf GTD goes back in March.

I spoke to Michael at their Newcastle branch. Painless ordering experience and well recommended.

For 18 months, not bad at all. Won't set any hearts on fire, but it will do as a car in the short term.

The ppm is 7.65P for 5000 miles over the 8k PA mileage. No additional fees.

Osmium Grey with charcoal leather and metallic trim.

Factory order and collect late March.

Saw a deal with contract car on a Merc S350 AMG no deposit 10,000 per year 48 month contract £685 per month, lot of car for the money

Just pulled the trigger on a 24 month Audi Q5 2.0tdi sline stronic Quattro for £2700 deposit and £299 a month, 8k miles per annum mileage allowance and 8.5pence a mile thereafter. £42k list price so about £9600 over the two years I feel is pretty decent...only downside is colour choice was white or white. I chose the white...:)

I would have possibly gone for that myself if it included the tech pack. Cracking price

These were S Line cars with no additional options.

Cars were in stock and a condition of the offer was that they had to be delivered by the end of January.

I know - that's why i didn't go for it (I debated it for a bit but really wanted tech pack), but still a fantastic deal. Enjoy

Settled on the XC60 myself now.

What’s included on a tech pack? The cars have sat nav and sensors as standard.

Tech Pack has the Audi Virtual Cockpit which does all sorts of wizardry. Also an upgraded SatNav and screen with effectively a Google subscription for love traffic etc. Also wireless phone charging and some other stuff.

I know this because I’ve spent many hours in dealerships recently! (And ordered a car with the Tech pack)!

I have this in my S5 coupe and Virtual Cockpit is a must. However for a basic Q5 S Line that you're leasing I doubt it's (the Tech pack) really needed or missed day to day.

As far as I am aware, the google traffic subscription is on all modern Audi’s, as I have a sport a4 without tech pack. You get 3 months free, then if you ask Audi, they will extend it for free. Mine is a 2017, leased direct from Audi (vwfs) and my friends is a 2016, leased from a non-audi dealership, and we both got it extended for free. If you were unlucky, you might have to pay £100/year.

Same here, folks at Freedom are great to deal with.

    Pitch

  24. #374
The deals look fair but they are headline deals
When you get into the quotes you’ll see the prices move up obviously for 8-10k miles

I think leasing is excellent but I do too many miles

Some fab deals on their website

Two things with that M140 deal.

The first is the prices have actually gone up for this car/deal since it was first released (so I suspect Freedom have not yet updated their site....) and then it's a business only deal unless a personal applicant meets certain criteria for the funders deal.

I've just ordered a replacement for my Polo GTi lease which goes back next month.

More through frustration at lack of exciting options at a reasonable price than any actual desire to own one I've ended up with a Scirocco GTi this time.

Don't feel like I've snagged a particularly high value deal given that it's essentially a run-out stock car that isn't being made any more. But it's by far the closest I could come to the performance of the Polo for not much more a month.

Apparently there are 120 odd cars available total. Deal I got was £210 a month on a 3 + 23 for 6000 miles PA. Thirty something a month more than I've been paying for the Polo for something slightly slower / more cumbersome with older interior tech. But it is a more expensive car, with a few extra toys and I do like the styling of them. Seems the bargains aren't there at the minute - but I'm sure something amazing will appear now I've signed up for this...

A Fiesta 1.0 ST is not a £23k car on any day in anybody’s world, ever.

What was this deal as £150 sounds really cheap for a Focus ST subject to what the initial payment was

Yeah that's not the St, the ST-line is the new name for the zetec-s, which wife had for £125 a months on 6+23, it has the little 1l ecoboost which was 125hp, but they've now squeezed 140hp out of it. The new shape proper St isn't out yet, but will have a 1.5l ecoboost with about 200hp

    Ok so:

    It’s a Focus, not a Fiesta

It’s a ST Line, not an ST

    &

    It’s 140bhp, not 180bhp.

    I’m highly confused lol 

Oh, and it’s £198, after an almost £1k down payment. Hmmm

No it’s £159 the £198 refers to trim upgrade

    £1000 down ST Line

Friend If you thought an ST for £150 errmmm hmmmmmm

Two people ordered that I know as it’s highlighted as a good deal

If it’s not for you try the MX5

Just trying to pass on some info
Perhaps look for a good deal too to put up?

As soon as I see a 180bhp ST, Focus or Fiesta for £150 a month I’ll be sure to post about it.

Also, if I see a great deal I’ll post. To date other members have been faster on the button, so there would be no point in my duplicating their good efforts.

Honda Jazz top end model deal

    Honda Jazz Hatchback 1.3 I-VTEC EX 5dr
    RRP Price £18,215
    £138.05 x 23 = £3174
    Initial Payment £414.15
    Total £3588
    8000 miles per year.

Cost of RRP over two years.
    19.7%
    £3588 / £18215 * 100 = 16.698

For lease over two years, anything less than 25% is good. Less than 20% should be considered excellent.

I've just signed up for a deal on a Volvo S90 momentum pro. 24 month hire, £1080 first payment and then £360 per month for 15,000 miles.

The nearest I value get to that was over £100 more per month!!
