Should be fine, I’ve done it from T5, not even a deposit taken. Good luck!

I'm sure people know, but if they don't... Which ever terminal you're in at Heathrow, you can ask them to check stock in the other terminals and if there's sufficient time the watch can be transferred to the terminal you're in.
Interesting!
Found this from almost exactly a year ago :
http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...llectors-piece
And other references from other sites going back to 2016. The one you saw must have been found at the back of a cupboard somewhere!
I think they move them around as Gassan has multiple outlets. Will check for it next time I am there.
I saw a white dial Milgauss in Michael Spiers, Taunton last Thursday.
GS @ Merry Hill called yesterday offering me a new Sub Date.
Had to decline but worth a call if you're in the market?
Neil.
GMT IIC LN in Wempe Bond Street the other day. These don't seem that hard to find.
Nice 2001 'dweller in Laings Edinburgh for a shade over 6k. Newly serviced. Oh, not mine!

No hulks but plenty of these in Heathrow
Long with the usual selection of steel DJ's

I am not a fan of the Hulk or the Bluesey, they are bit too much. However you tend to see the BLRO in most AD windows and blue subs not as often.

Price tags = Normal retail v what they are selling it for (The price on the left was offered for a EU flight)
Mappin & Webb, Fenchurch St, London today had Explorer, Explorer II (both dials), Air King and a blue Milgauss.
They also had a WG Daytona I'd never seen before. It had the grey dial with black subdials but the non ceramic bezel and WG bracelet. It looked lovely but at £27,450 well out my league.
Through Frankfurt airport today. Polar explorer Ii, blue and black Milgauss GV, air king, two tone GMT but not much else.

A reverse take on the title of the thread!
Has any member recently seen the blue dial/baton Datejust 41 (126334) with a fluted bezel on a jubilee bracelet for sale?
I spoke with two AD's yesterday and both of them told me that they were the most difficult DJ combination to get and that they couldn't get one for approximately 6 months?
Though the blue dial/baton (126300) smooth bezel on either a Jubilee or Oyster bracelet is a lot easier to get.
I asked my local AD for a D-Blue but all he got in his delivery was a regular Deepsea .
I am wondering whether to buy this and wear it until the D-Blue arrives . I know these are not selling at a premium but I guess the loss in 2 months would be relatively small .
No it would be pretty sizeable, wait it out for the deep blue, for what ever reason standard dssd does not to seem to hold its weight, slap a blue dial and green text it then is more desirable, I own a standard 2009 dssd, great watch and wouldn’t sell but there are plenty second hand ones available at very good prices.

You will take a shallow bath on the deepsea
Not that sought after
I think I can stand a shallow bath - don’t want a complete soaking !
I’d wait personally due to the hit you will take. However if you’re prepared to take a hit why not just buy the blue elsewhere at a slightly higher rate than rrp? Do a WTB here. You might get one for around 10k which will work out cheaper than the loss you’ll take I would think.
That would be my advice too. Buy pre owned grey now on the Blue, then when your UK ad piece comes up sell the grey or sell the new piece. Much less of a soaking than buying the deep-sea or could possibly turn a profit
Decision was made for me as it had already sold by the time I got to the shop .
I’m not UK based, Grey market options are harder for me unless I travel .
I was offered a black GMT or a bimetallic Sub .
They had 3 colors of the DJ 41 in stock with fluted bezels and milgausse and Exp 2 but very little stock coming through .
They haven’t seen a steel Daytona or Skydweller yet .
A GMT master in Christopher George in Cardiff for under £5k
Looked pretty decent.
Hardly any sports Rolex in Cardiff anywhere except a few yacht master orphans. Oh yes, did see an all gold GMT in WoS for £24k
