Just added this CWC RAF issued chronograph to the collection

Just added this to the collection took all most 4 weeks in the mail from Singapore dam must be a record for USPS slowness. I was a little worried it was lost in the mail. Dropped it off for a service the other day been sitting 10 years and it's a untouched barn find.

Fantastic, well done for finding it. Do you have any history for it (apart from being in a 'barn' for 10 years)?

The sellers bought a deceased watchmakers shop about 10 years ago and they started selling the stuff off this year. They had another CWC they sold before this one and also sold a Omega WWW who know what else they got. This variation of the CWC was made for only 2 years 1980-1981 and 1981 was the last year issued I was told. The broad arrow mark a little different than others so a rarer dial.

Its not BO but B 063/81 - Ive no idea where I got this from, but most probably from the early years of Ebay. I seem to remember Terry commenting on the B prefix but can't find where he made the comment.

    Very nice.
It looks like there is a plastic movement spacer that has embrittled and shrunk, breaking away at pusher and crown location.
I hope you can easily replace that......

Thats very nice. I have a Hamilton chrono that has a gilt dial but with white hands that would suite yours better *wink wink...
