Some decent pork scratchings,a bag of scampi flavour fries or some mini cheddars.
Move over a bag of crisps...
This evening I shall mostly be eating Tesco Jumbo Salt and Vinegar Peanuts. Much nicer than I had expected.
Tomorrow evening though I shall be treating myself to the gastronomic delights of Snyders of Hanover Honey Mustard & Onion Pretzel Pieces - quite the most delicious evening snack I have yet encountered on my quest for the ultimate in savoury satisfaction.
Et vous?
So clever my foot fell off.
Some decent pork scratchings,a bag of scampi flavour fries or some mini cheddars.
I had a little birthday tea the other day for my little lad. I bought a family sized bag of skips. Not had them in years.
I reckon I did at least half the bag to myself. Bloody lovely.
Totally agree with the OPs comments on Hanover Honey Mustard and Onion Pretzel Pieces - delicious with a G&T.
This afternoon I purchased a jumbo packet of spaghetti bolognese-flavoured crisps in Luxembourg. Not bad.
All the above plus tried some mixed wasabi peas etc. the other night and loved them.
Only problem was they made me drink faster...
Tic cheese biscuits, mmMMMmm wrong I know, but so so good.
Salted potato sticks! :-)
This. All day long. One of my favourite snacks with a pint of Oakham Ales' 'anything' at my local 'Palmerston Arms'. The honey & mustard ones are just that little bit too sweet and sickly.
They can be bettered though (both also offered at the above mentioned establishment):-
1. Grassmere Farms 'Grunta' - A Peperami done properly.
2. Black Country Snacks 'Ghost Chilli Pork Sratchings'. A... May... Zing...
Agree wholeheartedly with Salt & Vinegar peanuts though.. as a 'broad appeal' snack. Well... Salt & Vinegar anything really...

Brannigan's Roast Beef & Mustard.
Hot on the heels of my Skips reliving, I've just had to tidy the conservatory for my son's first birthday party (number 2) tomorrow. Have rewarded myself with a bag of Salt and Vinegar Chip Sticks.
Mariani Beef Jerky steeped in port for about a month (Kilner'd obviously) Yum!
Cash and carry spec wasabi peas.

Would tend to agree with previous posters that jalapeno beats honey mustard.
Like and coriander popadoms from Walkers anyone?
Yum...
I also think that jalapeno beats the honey mustard pretzel pieces (but I'll take either quite happily).
I also like the "Hot and Spicy Mix-em-ups".
Calbee original prawn crackers :) and lidl onion rings are damn good for 69p a bag!
Some small breadsticks from Lidl
made by Lye, I think. Anyway.....
slurp!
2 packets of quavers, I'd forgotten how good they actually are...
Nobbys nuts - chilli coated.
And yes to wasabi peas and mini cheddars
Scampi and lemon nik naks, food of the gods.....
Poundland wasabi nuts. Strangely moreish.
1kg tub of roasted salted cashews from Costco - the big clear tub with the Red lid :)
An industrial quantity of cashews, however they are never around long enough to go off !
I used to find between 35-70cl of Jack and the eating a portion of donor meat mixed with half ketchup and half chilli sauce to be just about the best savoury snack ever invented ;)
It's just a matter of time...
KP honey roast cashews, im addicted.
A favourite of mine used to be Nandos hot Peri Peri crisp, though too many could make your tongue bleed, (well it felt that way).
Now: - 1. Aldi Aberdeen Angus and Red wine crisp.
2. Aldi Hot Salsa doritos
3. Co op Sea salt and Chardonnay Vinegar Crisp.
The list is forever swelling as is my stomach.
Keith.
Jalapeno Pork Crunch from Filco for me, £1 a bag, very Moorish with a decent heat and no carbs.
Warmed up black pepper cashews.
Some bread, comte cheese and saucisson sec. Bliss!
Waitrose Pain Rustica piled high with Ardennes pâté, accompanied by a bowl of mixed olives and feta, liberally doused with Tabasco.
That snacking crackling might get a look in too.

It's quite hard to beat the classic Smiths pub combo... Scampi Fries, Cheese Moments and Bacon Fries... throw in some Pork Scratchings and that's all you'll ever need!
+1 on the "Hot and Spicy Mix-em-ups".
Can't beat salted popcorn for an evening snack. I mean aside from the vigorous brushing you'll have to do before bed to get all of the bits of kernel out of your teeth.
The King of snacks.
Available from all good chinese food shops.
Cofresh Bombay Mix. They do other mixes too. 80p for a large bag from Sainsbury's. Lovely.
Waitrose sweet chili thins, with their coronation chicken sandwich filler on top. Surprisingly, it works.
Kabanos, not the stuff that comes in a vacuum sealed bag, but the ones that are left to air dry.
