    Royal body guards ?

Now i'm no elf and safety type freak ..............but isnt carrying a small child down a flight of aircraft stairs while wearing high heels and not holding the hand rail rather asking for trouble?
Cant help thinking the royal body guards should have been on top of this one .

No. it's totally fine. Kids are tough and resilient - they bounce like beach balls.

Or dad could do it? She often carries the kid down the steps and has been caught out with a gust of wind lifting the hem of her dress. But a bodyguard needs to have both hands free for obvious reasons. Better if there was a nanny nearby or just put the kids on the baggage conveyor.

Gymnastic crash mats are stuffed full of them for that very reason.
