    Ms Photogenic...

Looks better than on wrist as I'm too old to see the details.

Looks really nice. I'm so curious to see these watches age in 20 years...

    Wow, that's beautiful.

I did a quick google search to see if I could afford one of these. Our survey says? Uh Uh......

I'm still holding out for the green-dialled version. Love the look of this watch

The man who works in the Seiko boutique in Paris wears one of those; I guess if anyone would know which one to get it would be him.

For me, this is the best looking Grand Seiko. What a lovely dial.
    What is the model reference?

    Indeed, a truly photogenic watch.
Am apathetic to non-diver GS watches but this has always been an exception. A truly gorgeous creation.

Beautiful. I'm a fan of date Windows but I love that dial so much I think I'd prefer it without the window

Great photos - do love the black dial with red hand combo though. Either one, I'd be happy to have!!!!

That's lovely - I really love the shape of the hands. Anyone know what this style of hand is called?

It is the standard GS hands, beautifully finished, five sided. There are a surprising number of quite lovely Grand Seiko watches; the problem is that they have made so many versions over the years that they get a bit 'lost'.
Grand Seiko do themselves no favours by marketing half-heartedly in the UK. A couple of GS Boutiques would show some commitment. As it is, we had great watches, poorly marketed. For instance, the complexity of finish on my sbga109 is remarkable. But how do people see one? This is a very wealthy company, they could afford the investment.

They are beautiful - so understated. I've got an Arctura with similar hands, but rounded/elliptical, which I really like. Of course the standard of finish on the Arctura is not a patch on a GS.
