Chips thrown on car in Frome near Bed and Breakfast

A large pile of chips was found on top of a red car at the bottom of Sun Street outside The Merchant's House Bed and Breakfast in Frome.

The nearest chip shop to Sun Street is King Fisher on Badcox, and this serves Fish and Chips.

Anna Griffiths-Car passed the vehicle with the chips on it late on Sunday morning (August 14) and was taken aback by the "nastiness of the act".

Since Somerset Live first reported on this story the news has reached the nation with #Frome now trending on twitter and many expressing their thoughts and sympathies with those affected.
