    Odd Router Problem

    Hello,

My router / wifi at home is working perfectly for all websites except, for today only, when I try to access a single specific website (a reputable, professional website), it crashes my router and the only thing I can do it to unplug and reboot the router, which then works perfectly for all browsing in till I try to go back to that specific website at which point it crashes again.

I assume it's a problem at the website end, not my end?

However, I can access the website normally via 4G on my iPhone.

When the router crashes, I get the router settings webpage, which prompted me to update the firmware etc, but it's made no difference.

Perhaps later on today everything will go back to normal, but for now??

    Any suggestions?

    Seems really odd.

    Cheers,

And now, 10 mins later, working fine for that website again.

I am still curious though if anyone knows what this particular glitch could have been

I had a strange one recently where my WiFi kept dropping off with my MacBook in the house, turns out it was everytime I plugged an external hard drive in, it was kicking out a frequency that interfered with the signal! there's plenty things in the world humans will never understand or suss out about the technology we've created...

Honestly it's not worth it, though I do appreciate you reading / asking.

Bizarre gremlin which seems to have resolved itself with a bit of time.
