    Seiko kinetic - changing capacitator

    Hello all,
My Seiko Fieldmaster kinetic from the early `90s has stopped and I plan to change the capacitator myself (or at least give it a try - have not done this before!)
Anyway at the back of the watch it says the 5M22 movement. Am i correct in assuming that it does not matter if the new capacitator reads ie 5M65 - the watch will function with all the elder models 5M22, 5M45, 5M65?
    regards
    Terje

You need a Seiko PN: 30235MZ from eBay for £13.99 delivered. This will upgrade you to the 6 month power reserve lithium cell.

Make sure you have a sharp, broard bladed screwdriver for the rotor screw and try not to slip and hit the coils :-)
