    Replace or repair crown stem

I purchased my Rolex 6694 from the forum a couple of years of ago and shortly after being clumsy pulled the crown & stem out complete. I think the screw that holds the pallet down that fixes it in place has just come loose as the stem is complete and undamaged under a loupe. In theory it should just slot back in, be tightened up and be good as new. I need to get this sorted instead of it just sitting in my watch box gathering dust for another two years!

Does anyone know a watchmaker (Im in Warwickshire) who could do this job who won't try to rip me off if it is just a simple tightening of a screw? I don't trust the bigger companies not to take it in and claim lots of work that just wasn't required. I fancy getting something more robust and sporty hence why i am finally getting round to sorting it.

I envy people that say "My local watchmaker" :)
