Basel models available to view in Chichester

Popped in the Chichester AD yesterday and they had all the Basel watches for viewing only. I think they are doing the rounds. Both Daytonas, new explorer, air King plus some others. I think they only have them until tomorrow and they they do somewhere else.

IIRC from another post, the touring ones aren't functional, i.e. no movement. Is that right? Do they add ballast to approximate the weight?

Yes you can try them on. They are non working but as far I could tell the weight was fairly similar. The green face daytime was .....different
