Some faaantastic pieces you have there yonsson
I have some time to kill so here we go. :)
First up, SEIKO. My favorite brand by far and I have had quite a few. Right now however I don't have that many.
SII This model was only handed out to the staff working at the SEIKO Instrument inc factory 1997. A pretty basic but also rare watch.
Credor GCBP997 A very cool chronograph (40mm) and probably the closest you can get to a mechanical Grand SEIKO chronograph. It's now in for a fix at SEIKO in Japan since my watchmaker had an accident with it while regulating it. I might sell this one when it returns.
King seiko 5626 from 1973. Monoque case and 28800bph. It didnt have the right type of glass and didn't work as intended so it's in for service. Love the chronometer text and the stick hands.
Skx 007 - a classic and since of last week officially out of production. A must have for any SEIKO fan.
Grand SEIKO 43999 from 1964. The first grand SEIKO featuring date function and therefore nicknamed "self dater".
Casio G-Shock. The 80s/90s standard teen equipment.
All black, pretty standard but too cheap to sell.
MT-G. GPS, Zaratsu polishing and a list price that will make you go "G, shock". ;)
Mudmaster. The best G-Shock model ever released if you ask me.
Omega - a brand I think is quite boring.
Used to be my dads.
Used to be my grandpa's.
The odd ones
Breitling Aerospace Evo Night Mission. Probably the best watch I've ever owned. Great finish, +-15spy and very stealth.
Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. A grail of mine for many years and now I own it, it's funny how things spin "out of control". :)
I'm very happy with it to say the least and I consider it the best dive watch currently in production.
Thats it. I don't have a red thread in my collection any more, I just buy what I think I'll like once it arrives. :)

Great collection! That Blancpain is beautiful, and the Credor is for me a close second.
The Blancpain is lovely and the SII is very nice - but I can't stop seeing a pair of breasts next to the date on the King Seiko! Not sure what Sigmund Freud would make of that observation
Nice collection. No idea of value, nor does it matter as a lively collection
Great collection!
I love the Credor and the original self-dater.
What happened to the Marine Master?
Lovely collection, particularly the FF.
Wow, that Blancpain Fifty Fathoms is immense! Looks superb.
Not seen one like that before, tough one to get hold of then?
I love that FF... Very nice!
The Credor is fantastic, a very moderately sized chrono which is rare with SEIKO. The subdials reminds me of the bezel on the FF.
You just ruined kanji Tuesday's forever. :( ;)
My source is SEIKO. :)
SBDX001? I sold that about two years ago to fund something else.
Well, it's pretty rare. They only make a few hundreds of these a year. Finding a used example wasn't as easy as I thought it would be and buying a new example was way too expensive for my taste. I bought this from terrible photos and with close to no information but luckily it turned out great. Full set, waterproof, close to new condition and 300 in amplitude.
Thats a great looking collection you have there.
Lovely collection and incredibly diverse. Wouldn't be able to pick a favourite some unique stuff in there.
Nope, never had a 012. SBDX001, sumo, SBGX117, SBBN015, SBBN023, SBBN031, Transocean and so on, but not a 012. :)
There are lots and lita of watches I'd like to buy but the budget won't allow it. Want to try them all but can't keep them all so I usually have a steady flow of incoming and outgoing watches. :)
Thanks!
Lovely collection yonsson. What strap have you got the FF on? Is it the stock sailcloth? Looks fantastic... Wish my cocktail stick wrists could pull one off....

Amazing collection, excellent GS, thanks for posting.
Lovely collection! Obviously the FF is especially amazing but have to say I'm drawn to that Breitling. I might have to investigate that one further.

I have a similar King Seiko chronometer- lovely watches and ridiculously good value for their quality.
Well done.
Nothing wrong with Seikos but diversification is more enjoyable,IMO.
BP FF takes the cake.
That's a great collection you have. There are a few I'd happily own. The FF and the Aerospace Evo obviously but I do like that Credor chrono - not something you see everyday.
Very Nice Yonsson! Superb taste as always

I love the Credor and was sorely tempted when you had it up for sale a while ago.
The MTG is also a cracker but huge!
I've not taken to the fifty fathoms but haven't yet seen one up close.
Overall, a great collection OP but I count eleven watches and test just isn't right; you need either one more or one less!
Thanks! I don't like selling unserviced watches so I sent it to a watchmaker just to make sure. The watch had a little accident in his care so therefore it's now in Japan for a fix. I'll most likely sell it when it returns.
What they said is that it's now on the "discontinued list" and that it will be out of production soon. The latest batch hasn't reached the stores yet so I'm sure it will take a few more months until people start seeing it as discontinued.
Thanks for that. Don't suppose you heard when the replacement is coming? Hacking, hand wind in SKX case? I don't buy that people think the new Turtle reissue is the replacement, and I can't see Seiko losing the SKX case from the range after it's continued success for decades.
I have heard no info on an upcoming "new skx". All I've read is hopes and dreams. :)
When SEIKO releases updates of models, they usually release them at the same time as they discontinue the old model (sbdx001/017, SBBN015/031) so I wouldn't bet my house on an upcoming "new skx".
