"cheapest petrol around your location" apps
parkmobile or equivalent (that was a true eye opener for me: never guesstimate your parking time in advance any more !)
sonos/spotify (including offline use of the latter)
wifi analyser (to check on the wifi coverage/blind spots in your house)

Memory Map - OS maps on your phone (i already had this on my pc, so didn't need to re-buy the maps)
c:geo - geocache app
Onshape - 3D CAD on my phone
Clash of clans - Game that will take over and ruin your life
Line - similar to whatapp
Slither.io - Great little game to while away a few minutes, snake evolved
