I like how you have used The Herald newspaper as proof that this actually took place today in Scotland.
I had the pleasure of meeting up with Watchlovr (Colin) today at Gleneagles and between us (and Mrs C) we had quite a nice little collection going. Colin's mint MilSub and DRSD have sparked the vintage bug in me (thought that fire was extinguished a while ago) and Colin got the chance to have a bit of hands on time with a 5711. I was very pleased to leave with a full-set flat 4 Sub 16610LV (flat 4 bezel is off the watch) and the experience of getting hands on with a MilSub for the first time. Good to meet you Colin!

Glad you enjoyed yourselves. Shame it wasn't last Sunday - I was at the Tormaukin just down the road.
'Twas a lovely day out in stunning Art Deco surroundings, made even better by trying on my second 5711, as if my mind was not made up already, thanks Patek!
Your missus had a valiant try at not looking too bored, even when we got ultra geeky with the Chuck Maddox discussion.
The LV is in superb company, great fun.
I'll be driving past Auchterarder road end tomorrow on my way to Pitlochry. Wouldn't have minded popping in as I was involved in the setup of their first bespoke gourmet restaurant a good few years ago so had a good few visits and stays there.
No vintage Rolex though, only vintage Caribbeans and Aquadives.
Cool pic!
My Submainer came from the Mappin and Webb at Gleneagles.
Always good to hook up with fellow addicts.
Nice watches too.
