After acquiring this lovely original 1016 I knew that something was missing, a Domed Tropic! After sourcing a NOS T22, having it fitted, new end links, bracelet brushed up, wow what a difference! Hopefully the pictures will portray this.. Let's see all those 1016's?

Far better Vince! The dome adds so much depth to the dial.
A 1978 version, had a movement service but case and plexi left as I got it.

My favourite watch. It's good to see the love for this classic. There was a time not so long ago when every mention here of the 1016 brought cries of 'I love it, but too small'. Tastes are at last changing for the better.
