Spur of the moment vintage Rolex incoming.

This was a real spur of the moment buy, 5513 Maxi mk11, its a real favourite with a beautiful unmarked dial with delicious creamy plots and a high dome plexi. Just could not resist and spur of the moment buys are always the best!!

lovely mark II - wondering how you found yourself in a spur of the moment position if its not a rude question ? Friend let it go or dealer/shop visit or stumbled upon it by chance ? I like the last possibility, but doesn't happen much these days.....

CHeers guys, I think £ for £ a nice 5513 takes some beating. It came via a friend, I had been looking for a Mk 1 but when my attention was grabbed by this one l just could not resist, the dial is just stunning.

Looks like a good example. Very hard to beat an old Sub for a pick up and go watch.

I know how it goes Bob, you are on your way to Tesco to buy some milk and a guy sticks his head out of a transit van window, Psst, oi mate, wanna buy a vintage Rolex - and before you know where you are you have another 5513 in the collection. Happens all the time. Just hope you remembered the milk.

No, seriously a stunning watch with a great dial and as stated earlier we must be due a SOTC soon.

How did you know I get my milk from Tesco? The SOTC is pretty much the same as the last one I did last year apart from this new acquisition. Total at the moment is 8vintage Rolex, a Rolex 16600 sea dweller and a 18ct Speedy for weddings and funerals and that's about it!

That's bloody lovely, Bob. I reckon you got it by a whisker, too, as both me and somebody else we know we're on the verge.

Cheers Tony, I wasn't going to bother but Paul contacted me to see if I was interested and I couldn't say no! I must say that in the flesh it is incredible and it goes without saying Paul is an absolute gent to deal with.

Absolutely love those creamy plots, the high dome plexi, and just the overall carriage of the watch - a stunning example.

    Hope you enjoy it!
