    Happy birthday to me :D

"What do you want for your birthday?" asks she.

"An Omega Seamaster mid size or a Rolex Explorer II please dear"

Fat chance of that happening, I'll get some cheese and a sympathy shag if I'm lucky, hopefully not at the same time.

Sales corner and P9CLY to the rescue, cheers chap!

Very chuffed, even if I have opened it two days early

I didn't think the proportions worked as well as on the full size. But given my baby 6.5" wrists anything 40mm or higher is pushing it.

Have to say I was completely wrong, the mid size is the perfect balance and doesn't look at all small.

Get one and flip it if you don't love it ;)

Is that really the 36mm mid size? I thought it was the 41mm version from the pic as on my wife's mid size Bond version the date window is at the edge of the dial leaving no room for a marker at the 3 position.

I have seen 2 versions, 1 with black bezel insert and 1 with stainless bezel. Before seeing the OP's watch I thought the 1 with the marker at 3 came with the stainless steel bezel.
What is the model number of the watch?

Spoke too fast- OP is the Quartz version, 2262.50.00.

Nice present! It's a shame you won't get a sympathy shag anymore.

Happy Bday Kev,the watch looks great, and to anyone with wrists upto 7.5" can wear this no problem,it ain't too small......enjoy.

    Happy belated birthday wishes.

The mid size watches look a lot more aggressive in their proportions compared to the 41mm versions, but my larger wrists couldn't really carry one off - I do think they look great though, and I even like the full-on ladies 28mm - both the 28 and 36 look more indestructible :)
It's just a matter of time...
