Ordered several bracelets from strapcode uk - no customs worries and next day delivery if you subscribe to Prime. Good quality too.

    Hi,

I ordered a super oyster bracelet from Strapcode UK a few months ago, and strangely I believe it came from Manchester.

Excellent company to deal with. I've used them several times.

    Chinatown, Manchester, near Hong Kong

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I'm about to push 'go' on a mesh. I know I can just return it via Prime but, Are strapcode products top notch?
I'm after a 20mm shark mesh - ether cut to fit or the adjustable version - not sure yet.

I've already returned a 'top quality mesh' to amazon as it was total junk.

Edit - Are the 'geckota' ones the same or just similar?

I ordered this one direct from Strapcode earlier this week. I'll report back when it arrives http://www.strapcode.com/store/19mm-...l#.V2uwg3RwUaI

I must admit it never crossed my mind to look at Amazon

Excellent - Thanks - In fact that was the very one I was looking at. The 'chamfer' clasp just looked better.

I really like this one though too....

Strap received today & it looks really good. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong width, 20mm instead of 22mm (doh), so I'm looking into returning it.

It has a Manchester UK postmark on it.

It's a bizarre set up but yes, everything I've ever ordered from them came from within the UK.

    Strapcode UK amazon

Do you think it's worth the money? High quality bit of kit?

A week ago I bought a Rolex Seadweller Deep Sea from my AD. Last thing he said to me was not to break the clasp because a new one was 2.5 Grand. The Strapcode's not on a par with the Rolex but it looks pretty good for the money. I haven't had it on a watch though on account of my hoping to exchange it.

I've had almost all of the bracelets from the likes of Yobokies, Will Jean etc and I think the strapcode is the best, certainly the best value for money.

Whilst I've not handled the strap you have in mind I have used Strapcode UK on Amazon for a Super Engineer II for my Seiko Monster. I can only reiterate what others are saying, fantastic strap and faultless service.

The only thing stopping me from buying a strapcode mesh for my Seiko sun GMT diver is whether the fat Seiko bars will fit through - anyone know?!

It does come with its own spring bars if the fat ones don't go through

  21. #21
Thanks - I've seen they come with springbars but assume they'll have the standard tips so will flop about in seiko lugholes. Anyone have a source for slim 24mm springbars with 'fat' tips to fit seiko?

I've been browsing this eBay shop (for shoulderless bars) and I'm a bit confused too. But there is a range here with a variety of two specific diameters and end extension sizes.

Strapcode mesh. I had to take all the extra links out. I can't believe some people could have fat enough wrists to need them. Looks better without them anyway.

I've had a few bits, no issues to report.

Only thing I will say is if you go with free delivery they wait a couple of days before dispatch, but then you get the item the day after dispatch.

Very quick to repond to questions: I enquired about the Olangopo style Razor bracelet for my Turtle reissue, they replied in minutes saying it would have to come from Hong Kong but would arrive within 10 days. I sold the Turtle so ordered something else instead for a different watch.

Yes I find that too. If you go standard / free delivery they will wait two or three days before posting to make sure there's a big enough differential between that and the £8.99 service.
