They'll struggle, too many games and a small squad, bottom half of the table for me

The last four clubs to win the top flight for the first time, and how they did the following year:
In 1978-1979 Nottingham Forest finished 2nd (and won the European Cup)
In 1972-73 Derby County finished 7th
In 1969-1979 Leeds United finished 2nd
In 1962-1963 Ipswich Town finished 17th
Whither Leicester City next season?
They'll struggle, too many games and a small squad, bottom half of the table for me

After my team Blackburn won it in 1995 we finished 7th the following season and that was down to Alan Shearer being top scorer in PL.
I think 10th due to small squad and other matches in Europe.
After their showing this season I wouldn't like to predict. As long as they can keep the team together and boost it with good quality team players I don't think they will let their fans down.
Top 6 next season, decent domestic cup run and last 16 of the CL.

About 9th to 12th I would say...............and yes! I know its not a "proper"! answer!
Mid table simply because European Football with take its toll. Add a few of injuries and it could be worst.
look at Chelsea this year.
Whoever does not know how to hit the nail on the head should be asked not to hit it at all.
Friedrich Nietzsche
I'll go for 7th or 8th.
I think that under new management that Man City will spend spend spend as will Chelsea.Rumours that Jose will be managing Man Utd if true will see an open cheque book arrive his way.Clopp has enherited a team and that needs fixing with more signings.Spurs will dabble in the transfer market.
A top 6 finish for them would be realistic. But what do I know.I never put money on them winning the league this season.Fair play to them BTW.A terrific achievement.
I reckon it will still be in the East Midlands.
"A man of little significance"
Bottom half of the table, probably bottom six.
Will struggle to keep hold of their quality players i.e. Riyadh Mahrez & Ngolo Kante.
I think they will find it tough playing European games and prem games with a small squad.
Will have to spend fairly big for next season, but good luck too them anyway.
I think 8th as said CL, injuries of which this season they had hardly any will take its toll
I don't think they'll be able to sustain the phenomenon from this season, the additional games and travelling will take its toll on a relatively small squad. Although they'll no doubt invest they are probably sensible enough to realise that a repeat is never on the cards and will not spend frivolously.
I think the usual 'big guns' will be there or there abouts next season with no major shocks.
I'm going to predict mid table 9th or 10th.
If they lose Kante and Mahrez which looks quite likely they will really struggle, prob bottom half of the table. I think Vardy will stay. Depends if they can hold the squad together but when PSG, Barca and Real come calling it would be hard for those two to say no I am staying at Leicester.
Spread so far:
1
1-6
1-6
7-8
8
9
9-10
10
9-12
8-13
11-20
11-20
15-20
18-20
Which I make to be an average of 9th to 10th. I think I'm going to go with 4th to 7th.
Whilst I do think Leicester will lose some players to 'bigger' clubs, after this years performance they will also attract some players no doubt. They'll also have a bit of money to do so.
On top of that, Ranieri seems to have fostered an attitude to playing that gets the very best out of each player, so who knows what that is worth.
I'd predict top six, or knocking on the door of it at least.
One thing Leicester seem to have done is confound the experts all season long, so why should that change?
I say all that as a die hard Leicester Tigers fan, so as a non footballing person I could be talking out of my hat!
I like the fact Ranieri said top 10
Next season will be hard. But you know what, it won't matter. The fans have seen them win England's biggest prize, a memory they will cherish till the day they die.
If it was me, I'd be happy with staying up. Not very ambitious, but as I say above, I'd have the memory. So, I'll go with 12th
9th, too much going on & I reckon the likes of Man City, Chelsea etc.. will sort their form out.
Normal service to resume next season for the usual suspects.
Happy to be proven wrong as this season has been cracking.
I reckon about eighth.
It will be interesting to see what odds the bookies will give on Leicester being champions next year...
One thing is for sure; never, ever again will the bookies even think of setting odds of 5,000-1 on any club winning the Premiership, which is a teeny bit sad for those romantics who would always stick a tenner on their no-hope team at the start of each season. Does anybody know how much the bookies lost collectively?
I really hope I'm wrong as they more than deserve the title this year, but I think mid table for next season (from a high profile non-pl winning team supporter)
Mid table if they are lucky.
After the big spenders have taken away their best players and with the rigours of European football.........
Cheers,
Neil.
8/9th i reckon, they will need to strengthen as every other club will with this big cash injection they are all getting from the tv deal
important they keep all their current squad though
If they don't lose their best players, top 10. If they do, they will be back to where they were before this season, struggling.
Great achievement for them though. I do like to see the underdog win :)
if they keep the likes of vardy / mahrez , definately top 7 finish they have a proven solid defense aswell . injuries and poaching of their players will be the biggest concern
I'd say top 10. I'll stick a few quid on them each way for the CL and also to win the CL. Don't anyone say I'm mad because........
I reckon 5-7th is a good guess. Reckon they will lose s couple of good players that will then become bench warmers and nothing more at bigger clubs just on silly money. But I think they will replace them well and have a great manager so have no need to worry.

If they hang on to enough key players, I say 6th to 10th, if they sell too many players, I say lower half.
I really hope they get a strong group in the Champions' League - That will mean matches against the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Getting those top teams seems likely, as I guess Leicester will be unseeded.

Second from bottom. Championship football in 2017/18.
I see a lot saying they'll lose players, but i think they'll spend quite a bit this summer and build an even stronger squad, unfortunately i think the Man City's, Utds, Arsenals, etc will also spend big, so i see top 10 being the aim, with maybe 6th being a good result for them.
I think if they work it well they'll be the 'new' Southampton, going from strugglers to top ten every year, they've got a decent manager, coaching staff and backroom team and an owner who wants them to progress, that's a lot more than other clubs have this summer, oh and the hundred odd million they'll bank this year will also help!
Champions league - prem Champions and a cheeky FA Cup
I'm not being greedy, just realistic
What a day yesterday... A day like no other, the biggest festival to hit my home town ever... I soaked up and loved every second!
2015. Defending champions Chelsea were P4 W1 D1 L2 GD-3 4pts
2016. Defending champions Leicester are P4 W1 D1 L2 GD-3 4pts
Should be top 10 easily, top six would be a very very good result. Any higher = dream world....again.
I predict............higher than Sunderland
