Scurfa silicon one or Seiko skx009

    I want a new watch.

Like the Scurfa for the sapphire, ceramic bezel and design.
The Seiko is just a classic imo.
Which one would you choose? (I can't get both)

I'm interested in members opinions, I realise I can just buy the one I like.

    Cheers

I have a Scurfa nato and had a seiko skx009 - I kept the scurfa for handiness sake and because it's cool!

    I have the Seiko.
It appears to me that everyone has the Seiko, or a Seiko.
I am ordering a Scurfa. Not sure to grab a quartz now or wait for the auto though.
    Does that answer your question?

Had to google the Scurfa. Looks pretty cool, nice case shape and accent on the crown. Looks modern compared to the 009. Never handled one up close to have a decent comparison though. Can only say I love the 009. Design works, Pepsi adds
Some colour and the case is very interesting due to different types of finish.

1 vote for the Scurfa here. Great watch with impressive price/quality ratio!

I receently picked up a Scrufa and it's a really nice watch. The Seiko SXK009 is a cracker too (I had the 007). Out of the two I'd go stick with the Scrufa, much more modern and for me it's a quartz pick up and go where as that particular Seiko movement isn't know for it's accuracy "out the box" although can be regulated very well

The Scurfa is an excellent watch and looks good on a lot of different straps. The Scurfa is quartz though, vs the auto Seiko, whether that comes into your decision making or not ?

I have a Scurfa and its a great watch at the price. The grab and go nature of a quartz over an Auto is also an advantage. It would be my choice.

Paul and Alison at Scurfa provide excellent service in my experience.

I hope this helps with your decision.
