    Simple mods to SBBN015.

I've decided to have the Crystal on my SBBN015 Tuna, retro-fitted an AR Sapphire.

I've also sourced a 3D printed shroud in white nylon from Bry, which I'm going to dye black. My watch is away at the moment having the AR Sapphire fitted, but should be back midweek, after the public holiday. I'll post pics of the modified watch and shroud when it returns.

The shrouds dye beautifull, using just fbric dye. I used a teaspoon and a half of RIT black fabric dye, in 250ml boiling water. Kept it boiling for 30 mins, and it looks perfect so far.

This is just an excercise to see if it looks OK, if so, I'll be able to ring the changes. oing to have to get some black shroud screws now!!

I love that watch Lewie! The black one looks good, I'm not sure about the white one. Would look good dyed light blue!

    Any update

Just bought an 015 myself and I am curious how it looks with the sapphire and nylon shroud.

Do you have the watch back yet for an update?

    Thanks.

^^^ Thanks for the link. Not sure I like those to be honest, they look a bit on the chunky side for me. Great idea though with the snap on ability.

Thanks Lewie, I will take a look around and see what people think about nylon shrouds in general.

I am reluctant to attack the screws on another watch at the moment. I stripped the heads off two screws trying to remove the shroud from my kinetic. Once bitten by that loctite stuff on the screws, I have learnt my lesson.
