He had a pretty good (read expensive) taste in cars, too. Back in February 1983 I visited Briggs Cunningham's Museum in Costa Mesa and the collection at that time included a Bugatti Royale, Hispano Suiza, Duesenbergs, Bentleys, etc. besides almost all the Cunningham team cars.

Oh crikey, one does have a point sir. Oou would have to make do with an Audemars............. oh, oh dear they were a '70's baby too!
What to do?
I suppose one would have had to dirty ones hands or rather wrists with either a White Bread FF or that upstart W&D model oh, what was it now? Ah yes the under-surface sailor or something like that!
