Met up with some fellow military watch enthusiasts this weekend......

I thought I'd share with you a couple of quick snaps I took at a gathering of watch collectors in London this weekend.

First up is a group of milsubs:

Next up is a pair of (very) rare HS10CD military dive watches from the early sixties. The Omega SM300 on the right is mine, and the recently surfaced Rolex on the left belongs to a friend.

These are the 'big crown' fathers of the Rolex milsubs and Omega SM300s that we know and love. The Ministry were essentially trying out different brands of dive watch in the early sixties, with very small numbers of both Rolex and Omega being issued. I've covered up some of the issue numbers.

    Best wishes,
    Martyn.

It's always nice to see £1.5 million pounds worth of Milsub's on the table!
