This one is from May 1972 (from memory), a little over half way through the GS 61 series production run (1968 to 1975).

I wonder if it's just coincidence that I'm wearing a watch with no date today?

Thank you. I must learn the differences between movements like the 6145 in the GS and the 6100 in my much more modest Skyliner from 1968. Beat rate, for one.

Give it a day or two and I'll be elaborating on this point here.

    The CAF for me today

There was much furore on the forum when Eddie first mentioned building these, yet we don't see that many posted on here. Loving mine.
    Best Regards - Peter

This one has come back to me; sold it years ago, subsequent owner sold it, bought it back, traded it, traded it back and sold it. Subsequent owner then bought it, wore it and sold it back to me without me knowing it was the same watch! Small world for the YM apparently :)
